While taking a recent graduate class there was a lot of discussion about Prezi. I didn't have time to look into then, but decided because of this post to try it out. I created the presentation last week for my science heredity students and used it in class. I found it a little complicated to use just because of how different it is. My students thought it was pretty cool, especially when I showed them how I made it. I think it could look better than it does, but hopefully when I use it again it will get better.

Holy cow that is cool. I haven't gotten to thing 6 yet but I'll have to get there soon! hat a cool way to present different facts and illustrations. I like that you can lay it all out in a brain storming way and then easily highlight any part of it by clicking on it.
ReplyDeleteI had a similar experience in that I heard a lot about it before I actually setup an account and created a presentation. I am so glad that I did. I like that it offers a new avenue for presenting content. PowerPoint gets old! :) I also like that it looks cool even though there are limited formatting choices. Students can be easily distracted by lots of options, which can take away from the time spent on adding good content.
